Esteemed Japanese luggage makers HEAD PORTER have teamed up with Los Angeles designer Dr. Romanelli for a series of one-off bags. As usual for Dr. Romanelli the bags are handcrafted utilizing unique fabric, which means that each of the 24 bags are strictly one of a kind — the fabric originating from a custom patchwork drape Romanelli made for HEAD PORTER’s Army vs Navy pop-up shop in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Using the patchwork fabric HEAD PORTER then crafted the small collection of bags, which they’ll be launching next Friday, August 16, at the HEAD PORTER store in Tokyo. Expect large pricetags.
